In this short video, see how CATIA Composer can import native CATIA V5 Composite parts, and preserve all of the Composite Design and Analysis data for use in creating rich 3D documentation.

A simple example of a CATIA V5 Composite part is used in the video, modelled using the 'Zone Approach' with one main laminate and four thicker, reinforcement laminates.

Learn how to open and select the CATPart from your file browser and see how it replicates in Composer, with all the geometry included.  You will now have the ability to design and capture multiple scenes (or views) as well as create high quality key-frame based animations.

Your finished Composer document, complete with captured views and animations, can then be shared with other people in many ways (a free player is available to open and view the Composer document ... it can also be embedded in web pages or Microsoft Office Documents (Word, Excel or PowerPoint) or exported to image or video file formats.

CATIA Composer can be used by non-technical users and does not require Computer-Aided Design (CAD) knowledge or training. Intelligent views permit complex product procedures to be effectively communicated using a minimum of text in a highly engaging interactive 3D experience. Views can be annotated and labeled in any way and format the user wishes, and Styles can be applied to any content to ensure visual consistency.
